  1. Mystats.email (“MSE”) provides information to its subscribers (individually “Subscriber” and collectively “Subscribers”) about the email that the respective Subscriber receives. This information may include the frequency and/or volume of email received from specific senders and/or other email-related statistics, and identifying and displaying unsubscribe links in commercial email messages (the “Services”). In order to provide this information, the Subscriber must grant MSE access to their email account. Subscriber can revoke access at any time. The Services are provided without any fees to the Subscriber. In return for receiving the Services for free, the Subscriber is accepting the terms described below and in our terms of use (see MyStats.email/terms).

  2. During the subscription and in order to provide the Services, MSE will have access to personally identifiable information (“PII”) and the contents and related information associated with the Subscriber’s email messages. PII, as generally defined in US privacy law, is information that can be used on its own or with other information to identify, contact, or locate a single person, or to identify an individual in context. Please read this privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) carefully for a clear understanding of how we collect, use, and protect PII and other personal information.

  3. MSE does not use Subscriber email addresses for marketing purposes and does not sell Subscriber email addresses to third-parties for marketing purposes.

  4. MSE may store and process Subscriber email messages and related information (e.g., message headers, the message body, and URLs and images within the message body) for compliance and best practices. By using the Service, you agree to allow us to store and process this information as described. MSE endeavors to redact any PII from such messages and to filter out any messages that are not commercial messages. Subscriber understands and agrees that it will not hold MSE liable for any damages which result from the use of PII or other personal information that is collected by MSE.

  5. We collect information from you when you register on our site or otherwise enter information on our site. We may use the information we collect from you when you register, navigate through the website, or use certain other site features in order to personalize the Subscriber experience, improve our website in order to better serve you, calculate and display email statistics, identify and display unsubscribe links found in email messages, and to allow us to better service you in responding to your customer service requests.

  6. We use Google Analytics to analyze the use of this website. Google Analytics generates statistical and other information about website use by means of cookies, which are stored on Subscribers’ computers. The information generated relating to our website is used to create reports about the use of the website. Google will store this information.   7. Our website is scanned on a regular basis for security holes and vulnerabilities in order to make your visits to our site as safe as possible.

  8. Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computer's hard drive through your Web browser (if you allow) that enables the site's or service provider's systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information. We use cookies to both understand and save Subscriber's preferences for future visits as well as to compile aggregate data about site traffic and site interactions in order to offer better site experiences and tools in the future. We may also use trusted third-party services that track this information on our behalf as well as third party UI interaction/behavioral tracking.

  9. You can choose to have your computer warn you each time a cookie is being sent, or you can choose to turn off all cookies. You do this through your browser (like Internet Explorer) settings. Each browser is a little different, so look at your browser's Help menu to learn the correct way to modify your cookies.

  11. We may provide PII and other personal information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others' rights, property, or safety.

We, along with third-party vendors such as Google, use first-party cookies (such as the Google Analytics cookies) and third-party cookies (such as the DoubleClick cookie) or other third-party identifiers together to compile data regarding user interactions with ad impressions, and other ad service functions as they relate to our website.

  13. Subscribers can visit our site anonymously but a login that includes an email address and password is required to access some site features/functionality.

  14. Our Privacy Policy link includes the word “Privacy”, and can be easily found on our website. Subscribers will be notified of any privacy policy changes, which may occur from time to time, via updates to the Privacy Policy on the website. Continued use of the Services serves as acceptance of any changes to the Privacy Policy.

  15. We do not specifically market to children under 13. Children under the age of 13 are not permitted to use the Services. Children under the age of 18 are not permitted to use the Services unless a parent or guardian has agreed to our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service on the child’s behalf.

  16. The Fair Information Practices Principles form the backbone of privacy law in the United States and the concepts they include have played a significant role in the development of data protection laws around the globe. Understanding the Fair Information Practice Principles and how they should be implemented is critical to comply with the various privacy laws that protect personal information.

  17. In order to be in line with Fair Information Practices, should a data breach occur, we will notify subscribers via prompt website notification.
